Seris - Paladins Map Design (Level Design Study)

I made this multiplayer map based on the game Paladins set in the Village of Seris, which is an area in the lore of Paladins.
The Village of Seris was destroyed when the Magistrate sacrificed a young girl, Abby, to the Abyss. This is a rendition of the village set in the past before those events happened.
It took me around 38 hours to create this from start to end over a week.

Making this map was a bit of a challenge as there weren’t many reference images of the village. I searched through trailers and lore videos to find whatever references I could, I used those to build further. The key elements of the village I could figure out were the Church of Eternal Pyre and the Portal to the Abyss, which I modeled separately along with the Windmills which act as player Spawn points.

I used the UE5 first-person template and added my own scripting to make all the other game mechanics such as Capture Point, Payload, Character Controller for Viktor (a champion in Paladins), enemy bots based on Cassie (another champion in Paladins), and more.
The models for Church, Abyss, and Windmill were modeled in Blender.
